Shame in many ways, including his chance to be the next Democrat nominee for President, he was certainly qualified.

Carradine who was in Bangkok shooting his latest movie, Stretch - was discovered by a maid hanging in the wardrobe of his room Talk about ironic.

It's time to let this guy rest in peace.
If he was into deviant sex as his ex-wife claims ... and he was found tied up in a deviant sexual way - sure - he may have had a pal there but things went very wrong. the police indicated there was NO SIGNS of coercion. It's time to move on and wonder who he was with. It sounds like it was "consenting erotic sex" that went wrong.

Annie Bierman, whom he married in 2004, plans to have an independent autopsy. I'll wait until the current wife says the same. The ex could just be vindictive.

John Carradine, David's father, was a versatile stage and film actor but is remembered mostly as an old west villain and a horror actor.
I saw him decades ago in Chicago in a summer stage production of "Dracula". At his invitation, my friend and I actually had a drink with him in the theater's almost-empty bar quite a while after the show where he had been sitting alone staring down at his glass in a brooding sort of way.
Working steadily especially during the 30's and 40's, he was a very talented actor but was known in Hollywood for his often bizarre behaviour.
He was married four times and was the father of actors David, Keith, Robert and Bruce Carradine. He was born in 1906 and died in 1988.
Maybe there is a weird gene transmitted from father to son.
