A judge in England sentenced a teenage girl to stay home every night of the week but Saturday for an assault she committed at a party.
"I give you one day off a week because it is summer and I don't think it is necessarily in your interests for you to be confined to your home every evening of the week for the next two months,"

.. I guess he’d let murderers out for Holidays too... I heard they do things like that in some countries
As her parent, I’d give her Saturdays only as my own personal punishment... or is that no longer allowed in the UK, to actually be a parent, or has the UN Treaty on the rights of the child taken over?
Guess what the judge gets on saturday night.
You would at least think the judge would give them a “boring” day...I don’t know - maybe Wed or Sunday and MAKE them go to church.(Not that I am saying church is boring...so don’t you all start giving me a hard time on that...I’m just thinking from a teenager perspective!)

My gosh, my idea of a perfect vacation is a whole week when I wouldn’t have the leave the house at all, except to go out to the yard to work in the garden. Two months would be heaven!
Believe me, after awhile, it does become like prison. :-\
