I'm pretty sure that this is my first vanity post.
I just went to Google and today, on the 65th anniversary of the Normandy invasion, GOOGLE decided to celebrate...the 25th anniversary of the birth of TETRIS!
I had my fill with the smug, liberal indoctrination of Google ages ago but there was nowhere else to go (Yahoo was inferior or annoying in too many ways).
Well take courage all you Google haters. Microsoft just released last Tuesday (with little fanfare) their answer to Google.
BING.COM appears to be just as affective as Google and I think it is more attractive (my final analysis is not complete yet - it does appear to be about 90% of Google on image searches).
I will no longer be part of supporting the GOOGLE propaganda machine.
Oh, and if you need any more convincing, while GOOGLE has their name spelled out in TETRIS-like shapes, the BING.COM rotating daily picture is, today, an aerial shot of the Normandy beach.
Here’s another site whose homepage makes no mention of Normandy:
http://www.freerepublic.com/home.htm
Going to bail on that one, too?

There’s no way anyone could be that dumb, man. Google chooses to honor stuff sometimes, and today they’ve chosen to honor Tetris, as opposed to D-Day. You see, there’s a relevance to the issue there, totally unnoticed by your post. Does this make sense to you?
Thanks.
While I like Googles search capabilities, I to tire of their smarmy attitude.
just changed my homepage to bing.com
Wow! bing’s image feature loads fast. I’ve just added bing to my task bar for further testing.
Thanks for the heads up.
Looks like they STOLE the foremat from www.Cuil.com and Ixquick Metasearch! www.ixquick.com
Bing search for Freerepublic http://www.bing.com/search?q=freerepublic&form=OSDSRC
Well comparing results returns on a test search on the singer/songwriter “Leslie Fish” Google returns 27,800 hits, and Bing claims 26,300,000 results.
That doesn’t sound quite right you know, but I’ll consider that as a teething problem. It would be nice to have a usable non-google alternative.

Did you notice that Democrat Underground was on the Related Search menu on the Left?
Yup.
I also noticed it logged all my searches. I logged a image search for “Golden Knee Pads” that I mad AFTER I posted that link
made
Wow!
Now any search I ever make on Bung will be posted here for posterity. Eff that.
Never trust in Bill Gates.
