How does one “put a note” on a dinner roll?

Must be an Arkansas thing.

It’s sad households feel they have to leave notes telling people not to eat their food.

But we all know this goes a lot deeper than a dinner roll.

....got to be a missing ham sandwich or meatloaf in the prologue. ;^)

This kind of stuff has gone on forever. My aunt would cut articles about such incidents out of the paper and send to my dad as a joke.

Wives killed husbands when they complained about burning the bisquits, or husbands killed wives because she burned the bisquits.

There were some really bizarre things done. Proves "There's nothing new under the sun." (Until we got Obama!)

Note to self: Let daughter have dinner roll—or anything else she wants for that matter. ; )

He should have used reverse psychology and told her to eat the damn thing or she was grounded. (yes I know she’s 42). But she wouldn’t have eaten the roll because dad demanded her to.

I remember a similar news story a few years ago - a guy shot his brother over the ownership of a loaf of sourdough bread.

Daughter Charged In Father's Death

MELVINDALE, Mich. -- Prosecutors said Wednesday that a Detroit-area woman was arraigned on murder charges in the fatal stabbing of her father after an argument over a dinner roll.

Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy charged 42-year-old Ava Maria Gordon of Melvindale with second-degree murder. She was arraigned Thursday in district court in Allen Park.

Police responded to a home on the 24000 block of Outer Drive Monday morning after a man called 911 and said he had been stabbed in the stomach.

When police arrived they found the victim, Greg Gordon, with multiple stab wounds. He was transported to an area hospital, where he later died.

Ava Gordon was found hiding in a wooded area behind the home. She was also taken to the hospital and then to the police station.

Police said Ava Gordon told them that the shooting was sparked over leftover food.

She said she ate a dinner roll that her father had been saving for later, even though it had a note on it advising her not to eat it.

Neighbors said Ava Gordon moved back into her father's home about 7 months ago.

Police said she also fired a gun but apparently didn't hit her father.

The perp.

Maybe the man saw an image of Elvis on the dinner roll. He wanted to save it so he could sell it on eBay.
