I have two official copies of mine. One in the file right next to me and another in my bedroom on a shelf with the rest of my official proof of existence documents.

I wonder if there are any of the adoption records rules in play here as far as Obama not being able to access his original? I have wondered how Obama’s adoption in Indonesia, if recorded at all in hawaii then effects this?

I used to have what is called a “golden certificate”, and was actually like a “fake” original birth certificate for adopted children. With registry number, original date of filing 3 days after birth (even though it wasn’t even created until my adoption was finalized). It was issued to my adoptive parents.

It even had a doctor’s signature on it. This “golden certificate” replaced my original Birth Certificate which lists my birth mother/parents, which is still in some dusty filing cabinet in Peoria, IL. My ORIGINAL BC, I am not allowed to access at all without a court order.

It may be that W/Out a court order Obama cannot access his original. And, that lawsuit would have to be brought by Obama himself — unless of course another judge decides that it is a legal necessity and can override Hawaii’s rules regarding adoption records.

What would be interesting would be to get the records pertaining to Obama’s adoption in Indonesia by Soetero. But, I’ll bet like most other records those are “missing” or “unavailable”.

I would still like MI6 to be the one to break this wide-open. I would think that Kenya being a part of the UK when Obama was born would file paperwork regarding his British Citizenship status. Those records would need to indicate place of birth as well, I would assume.

If it would please Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth she could pull the strings and release this info. w/out people knowing she was the one ordering it. That might be quite interesting...
