Watching the movie of Hal Lindsay’s “Late Great Planet Earth” at Rapture Ready. Even having been made in the Seventies, it makes more sense than the left’s “chicken little” scenarios.

Their timelines are off. They invent their own doomsday scenarios and attribute them to something other than God’s wrath.
God returns after the great tribulation to finally put an end to all mankind’s wickedness. They can have their fantasy and hand-wringing, with no hope for anyone in this life or the next (though they don’t believe in the next).

What is funny about the liberal apocalyptic view is that it pretty much is more or less a summary of Revelation.
Point it out to them and watch them make an icky face.

Nah! I’m watching the old Dark Shadows series from Netflix. It’s more entertaining.

June 1974
The U.S., Canada and Australia global food stores would be sharply reduced. University of Toronto Climatologist Kenneth Hare, a former president of the Royal Meteorological Society, believes that the continuing drought and the recent failure of the Russian harvest gave the world a grim premonition of what might happen. Warns Hare: “I don’t believe that the world’s present population is sustainable if there are more than three years like 1972 in a row.”

A friend recommended the Goode Family last week but other than that I have not watched ABC in years. Watching any of the lower channels is something I think of as “bottom feeding”.

I just turned it on. What a bunch of crap.
Now the Caspian fever virus has struck and we're all gonna die! Billions on the verge of starvation. Oh no, the internet is down! The earth is like a fragile shell and one last shock breaks it.
As if we don't have enough to worry about with 0bama ruining the country and Kim Jong shooting off his missiles.

Same bogus crap, different decade.
Remember in the 80s when ABC tried to scare everybody that Ronald Reagan was going to blow up the world?:
