Vrabel gone, Harrison gone, ....

Yeah, he was hurt bad by the loss of Law, Malloy, McGinest, etc.

Huh? He and his staff took a core group of talented players and plugged a lot of holes with waiver wire pick ups and won a SB in 2002. They came oh so close to making it back to the SB in 2006 with no running game and a WR corps featuring Reche Caldwell and Jabbar Gaffney. Their defense was throwing out guys signed off the street their final game against the Colts who went on to win against a Bears’ team with a much better D than the Pats had to offer.

A silly assertion, to my mind, but you can wait as long as you want for that.
Here's one for you... Peyton Manning is done as an elite QB. All his binkies are now gone, coaches, Marin Harrison, Tom Moore, Howard Mudd, GONE. It's all him, and he can't hang, he will be shown to be the ULTIMATE "system QB."
