My report from S. Utah...

Tomato plants have started to set fruit. The pots are now on the east side of the house. In a few weeks, they will be in full shade, due to the heat. (In S. Utah, planting tomatoes in the ground is a guaranteed dead end to tomatoes, it’s too hot and too sunny.)

Strawberries and raspberries (also in pots and on the east side) are on steroids.

Columbines are the toughest little plants ever. My landlord cannot believe how well they do here. They are from Washington State and never considered planting them in the desert. lol But they are very happy sitting under my apricot tree, blooming away!

You move yours based on the sun, or the sun moves relative to your pots? It is a serious question.

Utah! I got the idea for my drip irrigation system from the Utah State Univ. Cooperative Extension service.
