tomatoes are dormant above 86 degrees? Wow. I didn’t know that - all types of tomatoes? Here in Nashville, Tn it is above 86 most of the time in summer.

Just about every tomato except Heatwave, my FRiend. There may be others now.

Be sure to read the labels carefully. If they don’t indicate a temperature, note the variety and go home and research it for yourself.

There is nothing quite so lousy as sitting there, like the Skipper on Gilligan Island (with a fork in one hand and a knife in the other, waiting for a beautiful tomato) and finding that tomato will refuse to ripen in your climate or conditions!
