The lore or old wives tale here in Central Mississippi is that you do not plant until one month after the last Thunderstorm in Feb. A couple of Black ladies told me that while I was at our local Co-Op looking for plants in early March. I had never heard it before.

I am doing a “japanese” tomato ring this year, but is has been to cold and rainy to plant this week. Hoepfully the tomatoes will go in over the weekend. I have two kinds of pole beans in, lettuce, peas, onions, yellow squash, zucchini, patta pan squash, and a bunch of herbs.
