Actually, “suma cum laude” means “with highest honors” and is the top designation.

Actually, it’s:

cum laude = with honor
magna cum laude = with great honor
summa cum laude = with highest honor

Summa is the latin root of “summit”

cum = with

magna cum = with great

summa cum = with supreme...

summa is highest order.

cum laude = with honors suma cum laude = with high honors magna cum laude = with highest honors

Summa would be the highest. Magna merely means "great".

When he said “laude laude”...did he say it in a southern black accent?

My daughter just graduated. Her senior classes included SCUBA and Bowling! She aced both of them and at the Grad ceremonies I congratualted her on achieving SCUBA Cum Laude!

All I can say is Biden was right and the telepromter is brokin!

The correct sequence is:

non probatum, non sufficit, non rite or insufficienter: fail

rite: pass / satisfactory;

cum laude: with honors;

magna cum laude: with high honors;

summa cum laude: with highest honors.

Regards,

Since this came from O's 'western swing' of (more) fundraisers, it seems as good a time as any to ask:

Is anyone keeping tabs on how many hours this guy actually spends in DC?

How many of those are spent on actual government business?
(excluding press conferences)

And just who IS running the show while he piles the miles on AF1?
