My wife and I both work, we even met at work, 28 years ago.
But when we got married she thought she would manage her paycheck and MINE. WRONG.

I have my bills and she has hers. I do not control her money any more than she controls mine.

OTOH, if she had insisted on controlling both paychecks, it would have been a VERY SHORT marriage.

My wife can attest to the fact that this threat loses a lot of it's punch after age 40 or so. Or at least after forty when a nymphomaniac next door neighbor moves in.
