But it is true, the commercials are trying to make them seem interesting and worth getting emotionally involved with. The network (TLC) wants people to watch the show, TLC knows people are more likely to watch the show if they feel they’ll like the people in it. That’s the point of commercials, and if that’s the best TLC can do for them they’ve got to be a rough couple of people. And of course the commercials aren’t my only source of info on them, I’ve really enjoyed reading the stories of this meltdown.
And like I said you’ve said things in this thread that completely support what I think about them. Here’s some quotes from you: “but I think he was guilted into it.” “People DO NOT change once you marry them. He knew exactly what he was getting with Kate when he married her.” “I think it started when Jon was made to quit his job and work from home. “ “I do think pride has taken over Kate. Ugh, this is the feminism crap that boils my blood.”
And yet I shouldn’t judge.
Unlike you who listens to commercial soundbites and what others say about it.
I am pulling for that family. I want them to succeed. You left out my comment...."Again, as much as I love watching them, I do hope they cancel to get their family back together." Post #35.
