Financial Investment Question

Euro Pacific Capital or Puplava Securities

TOPICS: Business/Economy
KEYWORDS: commodities
I want to invest with either Peter Schiff's Euro Pacific Capital or Jim Puplava's Puplava Securities. My objective is to purchase non USD assets, gold and resource stocks. Can anyone please comment which firm would best achieve my goals?

Schiff did lose lots but is making it back now quickly with the drop in the USD, rise in gold and resource stocks.

Drop in the dollar?

What drop?

I keep hearing about the mythical “dropping dollar”.

Why not do it yourself?

If I had to choose between the two, I would choose Schiff. Nonetheless, I think Hussman is better than both of them.

I’d say the dollar is dropping because so many of the consumer staples I buy (many imported) have been steadily increasing in price (namely food items and gasoline) ... also compared to the one currency I follow closely (Philippine Peso) the dollar is down about 5% in the last 2 months..

In the last week alone the USD has lost value compared to the CAD, AUD, EUR, GBP, NZD, JPY. Priced in USD, oil, gold and other commodities have gone up in price only because the USD has gone in value.

Another bear/contrarian fund manager. He tends to stay out of the limelight.

He’ll start paying attention when the stores he shops at have to replace inventory at a higher cost...
