If the choice is between Rubles and Obama-Dollars, I think I’ll still take Obama-Dollars. At least there will be a few left-wing chumps around who will take those.

Russian roubles are backed by actual hard assets (Oil, Gold, natural resources). Our currency is backed by electrons.
With millions of U.S. citizens stocking up on arms and ammo, I’d say we are ready for anything a bunch of elderly Europeans and our own rancid Rockefellers could throw our way.

What a great idea. When we inevitably go into a black market economy, I will only accept payment in gold or Schrute-bucks.
The last time I read one of these types of articles, the Bilderbergers were reportedly discussing whether Canada could continue to be viable as an independent nation.
I didn’t see any follow-up, and economically, at least, Canada has had a few good years since.
