They asked him the serious question of “do you think this is torture” but they did not ask him the all important question...

If you could have stopped another 9/11 by this method, would you do it.. or let thousands of ppl die.

Thus, far the only two supporters of Bush’s foreign policy to be waterboarded, Hitchens and Mancow, have called it torture. Why don’t all those who use the words “enhanced interogation” be honest and start proudly announcing that they are for entrusting Obama with the right to TORTURE people at will? Let’s get some honesty here. On the other hand, it might be more productive if they skipped the next episode of 24 and instead read what Acton had to say about the abuse of power.

Exactly. Torture just for the sake of torture is unacceptable.

The way waterboarding was administered was not for the administrators to get their rocks off, it was to try to save lives.
