Dagnit...

I'm reading this article at a work computer and it blocked the Ruger site. Now I feel blind.

they'll sell a million of-em cause it doesn't sh!t where it eats...

Try brushing your teeth once in a while. It'll work just fine.

Patriot Ordnance Factory, Leitner-Wise, Bushmaster - and a couple others - have been making gas piston uppers for years.

Still a nice gun. Hope they do well.

The flat top upper receiver and barrel assembly is specific to the Ruger SR-556.

Uh, oh.

Colt uses it's own pin diameter. I can swap out my Armalite with a Bushmaster and all the rest of the manufacturers. I have a Bush/Lite sitting in the toy box. Bushmaster lower with Armalite upper. I also have a full competitive match upper that I can use on my Armalite lower which swaps out for my Leg match upper.

I don’t think so. It may have more in common with an AK but featuring a two piece piston.

A lot of people don’t realize the action of the Mini is based on the M-1 Carbine and not the M-1 rifle/M-14.

You could get about 10 10/22’s for 1 of these. I am sure however Ruger did their version of the AR right.

.223 Remington is not the same as .22LR.

That may be true but I’m done for awhile. I have to figure out how to use what I have. Some of them are getting neglected.

Those are blocked also. Have to wait 'till I get home.

Guess it's expected working for a eurotrash company.

It’s pretty. I would like to get an AR 15. Anyone know anything about American Spirit out of Scottsdale, AZ?

I would like to get a Bushmaster, or Colt, or maybe Stag Arms, but American Spirit seems to actually have AR’s ready to ship.

Lever gun and wheel gun nut here (probably saw too many cowboy movies when I was a kid). Been looking at AR’s, this might be the animal I buy. Grudgingly jumping into the modern times I guess.

Well, California bans them, so they must be good.

Meanwhile the Indians have gone to modern assault rifles while you were spinning the cylinders of your revolvers. =)

A 1x9 barrel?!

LOL, Ruger...

Looks pretty good otherwise. Hopefully they've learned to make better barrels than what they put on Mini-14's.

Funny, while they have plenty of expensive .223, they don't have any of the stuff I want.

I’m a Rock River Arms guy, but I wouldn’t mind owning one of these too an H&K 416 or a Sig 556.

There, an improvement. I have a very tricked out RRA and would rather pi$$ on Ruger's grave for his betrayals of the Constitution. I don't care if he was considered an icon of the industry, his backstab is unforgivable. Especially when there are other, better choices.
