I planted a couple of bean plants the other day in a pot my landlady was nice enough to let me use. they haven’t come up yet, but it has been raining now here so I haven’t even had to water them. The difficulty in gardening here in FL is finding plants that can take the heat when you plant them this late in the year. got some cantelope seeds too but haven’t put them in the ground yet...was told i had better not plant them in her tomato bed...lol

Yeah I hear you. The heat here in central Ms can be brutal especially in Aug. and into first weeks of Sept. I hope there is a little Global cooling for those months.
