I've got a deer problem too. They ate six holly plants that I was overwintering in my hosta garden which is right near the street. They ate two bushes that are supposedly deer proof, took half of an arborvitae right to the center/trunk, and they ate the back half of all my rhododendrons. They also took chucks out of two foundation plants. What a mess.

same here, I have one that stand about 50 feet, and the lower 6 feet of it is gone now.

I have been researching how to keep rabbits from my cabbages. Beside the obvious (fencing), I have found four intriguing suggestions:Hopefully this has been informative, or at least amusing.

See post 18. I have planted a zillion trees and plants since moving here three years ago. The first year the deer were a nightmare. Since I put in the garlic clips, they don't bother my stuff. Neither do the bunnies.
