Add in maxi-pads for serious cuts or large scrapes ... real emergency use clumping kitty litter (from a new container of course) to stop heavy bleeding. Sure it may not be sanitary but it’ll do until you can get to an aid station

Hadn't heard about cat litter for severe bleeding, but I have used Lamb's Ear while out hiking. The leaves are fuzzy and absorbent. Works great!
