New To Free Republic Need Help In Arizona...Have Questions

Hello, the name is Danielle. I just moved from Fort Lauderdale Florida to Hereford Arizona. I am currently in the Army Reserves. I formally worked for the Republican Party of Florida, as well as lobbying and counter terrorism research organizations. I also was a public educator in Florida before making the move to Arizona. Now I am a contractor for the Army. I have "lurked" on here for years and a friend of mine (my favorite headache) told me that you might be able to answer some of my questions.

I am very interested in getting involved with the Simcox campaign. The problem is, I do not want to get the normal e-mail from the campaign that says where to volunteer and send money. I can do that on my own. I was wondering if any of you can help me get in contact with the right people on the ground out here. I am considering running for local office in the future and need to establish a new base out here in Arizona. I really appreciate your help. Thanks so much.

One easy way to keep the automated junk mail to a minimum is to use Google Gmail. If you set up an account there, say dlk2009@gmail.com, then you can use as many aliases as you like by appending a ‘+’ and another word to your user name. For example you could tell the Simcox mailing list robot that your email is dlk2009+simcox@gmail.com, and this will get forwarded to your regular address. If they ever abuse the email privilege, you tell Gmail to treat that address as junk mail, and you’ll never hear from them again.

I post under my real name to try to keep from being too inflammatory or impolite (not always successfully.) If you ever run for office, expect the Alinskyite scum to look up everything you’ve ever posted here even if it’s anonymous.
