I have a friend who is a mariner.
He married a Philippino woman (okay,no jokes), and he says
that there is no way that I should ever consider an American woman for a mate.
I agree with him, to the extent that most of the the women that I know watch Oprah, are obsessed with shoes and Prada bags, or whatever, and are totally oblivious to what is happening in our world, around us.
Why bother?

Amen,, Its strange to date them. They show you photos of them jumping out of airplanes, them at the finish line of their last iron man, climbing Mt McKinley, and tell you of their year digging wells in Botswana, ad infinitum, ad nauseum,,,

So much aggression, so competitive. Women from Ukraine, for one, are puzzled by them. Passing up marriage and love, for a career? A generation of women here was destroyed. There are true gems here, but its like sifting though a dump truck of dung to find the 1 carat diamond hidden in there.

They apparently had never seen the tongue lashing a pissed off Chinese woman can deliver. I was in Beijing a couple of years ago and watched a woman deliver the most scathing 5 minute screed I can imagine, and I don't even speak Chinese. It sounded like someone ripping apart car bumpers. With the crowd gathered round to watch, you'd have thought there was a jumper. And the poor guy just stood there staring at the ground. Other than that, I love ‘em - especially the ones from the south, more... robust.

That's fine as long as you move to China. Bring a foreign woman to the US and it won't be long before she becomes culturalized and just like any other American woman....
