I have a friend who is a mariner.
He married a Philippino woman (okay,no jokes), and he says
that there is no way that I should ever consider an American woman for a mate.
I agree with him, to the extent that most of the the women that I know watch Oprah, are obsessed with shoes and Prada bags, or whatever, and are totally oblivious to what is happening in our world, around us.
Why bother?
If you travel much, its universally understood that American men make the best husbands. Its also understood that American women make the worst wives. Flame away cause i don’t care.
My sister told me that women from other countries only want material gain, that they won’t actually love you. I asked by what deranged thinking marrying an American woman protected me from that kind of woman. She wanted to kill me, cause her husband laughed out loud.

American women can be trained! (Im probably going to get bashed a bit for that but oh well!) Thanks to my hubby I now drive a truck, go hunting and fishing, drink beer, and listen to country music. I buy shoes that are comfortable, and purses that are sturdy. I want not for friendship - he provides all of that I could want. (I tried having women friends but got really sick of being a shoulder and an audience to their husband-bashing.) He is very proud of the work he has done on me.
