Paul Sinclair of Yorkshire in the UK has been fascinated by UFOs for as long as he can remember but only really got involved in ufology after his first sighting. ‘It involved me and a work colleague. It was at a place called Sledmere on the East Yorkshire Wolds (hill country). It was a bright sunny day and the UFO was just hovering above some trees. What we saw was a structured object of huge size hovering above a field.’ Ever since then Paul has been regularly gazing at the skies. ‘I am the guy who sits in the darkness observing hour in hour out. I am looking for real proof.’
Obviously Paul was excited when he managed to film the footage below on May 1 2009, which he believes may well be an extraterrestrial spaceship, but Paul insists his search for an alien presence in East Yorkshire is far from over.
‘The Wolds UFO phenomenon is real and the dedication needed to sit on the remote Wolds during winter in freezing cold conditions is no less a task than that of a wildlife film maker.’....

Don’t recall if I saw that show, or not:
A scientist (Landau) builds a powerful laser weapon. One night a benevolent alien from a light world on the top of our galaxy rides the laser down to earth. The scientist’s wife (Kellerman) tries to shoot him with a laser gun but he raises a powerful shield. The scientist and the alien share knowledge with one another. When the scientist leaves the wife shoots the alien in order to get his shield technology. During a demonstration she raises the shield but is unable to take it down, thus trapping her. The alien, believed dead, comes to her rescue and lowers the shield before dying. The woman, left insane with guilt at killing an alien that only thought to help her, believes herself to still be trapped within the shield as the episode ends.

I agree with your take on both accounts.
It's not that I have to see li'l green goobers hobnobbing about, or have resolution clear enough to count rivets or make out welds on sheet metal.
But it'd be nice, just once, if say a pair of jamokes out hiking in Timbuktu and equipped with good quality photo gear and/or video camera just happened to per chance walk around a huge rock outcropping & there sat an other worldly conveyance nice & pretty, all ready to be photographed/filmed from multiple angles from various depths.
That'd shut the buggers up, huh.

(Just for the record, that's one of my favorites. I really like how they made Kellerman look in black and white, and how they caught light reflections in her eyes, etc).

I doubt this is fake, but only because it’s so bloody unimpressive. Probably the worst UFO vid I’ve ever seen...that object could have been just about anything from that distance and at that low resolution. The Russian video you posted a couple days back was very nice though, regardless of whether or not it was real.
