I clocked in at 0.396 after I totaled my car. I spent three days in detox and have quit for good (1963 days and counting).

I think the most I ever blew was a .22.
Also aclcohol free for about a decade now.
“and have quit for good (1963 days and counting).”
Good for you, friend! :-) Keep it up!
BTW, here are the reactions from .25 to .4:
Nearly total loss of motor functions
Markedly decreased response to stimuli
Marked muscular incoordination; inability to stand or walk
Vomiting; incontinence of urine and stool
Decreased consciousness; sleep or stupor
From 0.35-0.50
Complete unconsciousness and depressed or absent reflexes
Impairment of circulation and respiration and low body temperature
Incontinence and possible
DEATH
The overlap is because of different reactions by different people. For Hasselhhoff to remain conscious long enough to get that drunk indicates his body has developed a pretty good resistance to alcohol. Some drunks will get DTs if they drop down to .08, the legal limit for intoxication.
You made it through the election last fall—that’s a good sign.
