Consumers using Hydroxycut products should immediately stop taking the dietary supplements, the Food and Drug Administration warned today after receiving reports of serious health problems related to the drugs. Hydroxycut The dietary supplements -- made by Iovate Health Sciences Inc. of Oakville in Ontario, Canada, and distributed by Iovate Health Sciences USA Inc. of Blasdell, N.Y. -- have been linked to one death and are associated with several serious liver injuries, the FDA said. Is it just me, or does it look like they put that woman through a photo processing program?

Oh great! I took Hydroxycut in 1997-1998. And that was with the ephedra. Lost 80 pounds. Have since gained it back when I quit smoking.

Another “magical” weight loss pill where the “cure” is worse than the disease. Want to lose weight? Avoid refined carbohydrates (white flour, sugar and high fructose corn syrup).

Dang! I'm reading this while staring at the 1 month supply of the stuff with about 2 caplets gone from the bottle.

Will Obama send me a check to make up for my loss? Its HIS Food and Drug Administration after all...

When the FDA issues a warning, it usually means the product works.

When the FDA tells people to stop taking the pill because a bunch of women have died while doing so, or taking RU-486, and demands they pull this stuff off the shelf, maybe then they will have some credibility for being consistent.

Until then, get bent FDA.
