I saw this happen several times among acquaintances - there seems to be a permanently circulating crowd of Russian girls on the West Coast who look for well-off older men, “date” them for awhile, and then move on, sometimes because they have used up the guy’s money and sometimes because the guy finds out about the hot young Russian stud his sweetie is REALLY having a good time with! I have to say I don’t have much sympathy, though.
