More than two weeks after his wife filed for divorce, Mel Gibson and girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva made their first public appearance at the X-Men Origins: Wolverine screening in L.A. Tuesday.
Holding hands, the 53-year-old actor -- in a black suit with a dark gray shirt -- and Grigorieva, 38, did not stop to pose for photographers, instead rushing inside Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

Actually, if he were to follow the Standard Age Determination Equation For Girlfriend** (for divorced men), his GF should be about 4 years younger.
** Standard Age Determination Equation For a Girlfriend is used to determine the age of the girl a divorced guy should be dating and is caclulated by taking half the mans age and adding seven years. In Mel’s case, he’s 53, so should be dating a 33-34 year old woman.
There is no similar equation for women.

Ted, its been ‘around’ for quite awhile that Robyn Gibson looked ‘the other way’ with Mel’s daliances. It was the ‘sugar t#ts’ ‘joo’ slamming episode that caused them to ‘live apart.’ Now, it is reported that Oksana WhatsHerFace (who is NOT the burnette pictured above) is preggers...maybe THAT little announcement was the last straw?

since i share a faith with the man, i am upset that he didn't live up to and honor the vows he took, as a supposedly strict Catholic. and aside from faith, i just find it lamentable that the attitude toward marriage is so casual, so disposable, that should one partner become bored, or "dried up", or the "quality of the companionship" has declined, it's time to move on to greener pastures. Sad. adultery and broken marriages are equally lamentable no matter how beautiful or ugly either partner to the marriage is.
He's not a strict Catholic, he belongs to a fringe Catholic sect, which is not recognized by the Vatican.

Actually, I’m sad about it. Mel is not the run-of-the-mill Hollywood bimbo or himbo. He actually has the Christian Faith. I think this is severe alcoholism and/or mental illness.
I thought the rule was that the minimum age was = 1/2 x (your age) + 6.
