LOL!
He can go through 4 wives and still have 50 million.

Actually, if he were to follow the Standard Age Determination Equation For Girlfriend** (for divorced men), his GF should be about 4 years younger.
** Standard Age Determination Equation For a Girlfriend is used to determine the age of the girl a divorced guy should be dating and is caclulated by taking half the mans age and adding seven years. In Mel’s case, he’s 53, so should be dating a 33-34 year old woman.
There is no similar equation for women.

Poor example for his kids. Sadly, the grass is always greener til you get on the other side.

Ted, its been ‘around’ for quite awhile that Robyn Gibson looked ‘the other way’ with Mel’s daliances. It was the ‘sugar t#ts’ ‘joo’ slamming episode that caused them to ‘live apart.’ Now, it is reported that Oksana WhatsHerFace (who is NOT the burnette pictured above) is preggers...maybe THAT little announcement was the last straw?

You were right, sort of. She's neither Pochepa or Oksana Kolesnikova. But rather Oksana Grigorieva. You had the right pic but neither of us had the name.

Now we know.

The fact that he has an attractive new companion in itself isnt evidence he is in the wrong. Sure it is. He's still married.
Its not evidence he is in the right, either, to be fair.

You know, Chan, I'm too old and too cynical in the ways of the world to feel this way, but dammit, I'm disappointed in the man.

There have been rumors of his cheating and philandering for years, he himself referred to his wife publicly as a
"saint"while there have been NO rumors of her being the wrong-doer. So, it is counter-intuitive for you to be hypothesizing that SHE was the catalyst for this divorce. No, he is the hypocrite.

Are people upset that the marriage is over or are they upset that Gibson has moved on to a physically beautiful woman. (compared to moving on to an ugly woman) since i share a faith with the man, i am upset that he didn't live up to and honor the vows he took, as a supposedly strict Catholic. and aside from faith, i just find it lamentable that the attitude toward marriage is so casual, so disposable, that should one partner become bored, or "dried up", or the "quality of the companionship" has declined, it's time to move on to greener pastures. Sad. adultery and broken marriages are equally lamentable no matter how beautiful or ugly either partner to the marriage is.

as a supposedly strict CatholicHe's not a strict Catholic, he belongs to a fringe Catholic sect, which is not recognized by the Vatican.

correct, but i don’t think that his particular fringe sect differs from the RC church with respect to adultery and the sanctity of marriage.

Actually, I’m sad about it. Mel is not the run-of-the-mill Hollywood bimbo or himbo. He actually has the Christian Faith. I think this is severe alcoholism and/or mental illness.

I thought the rule was that the minimum age was = 1/2 x (your age) + 6.
