More than two weeks after his wife filed for divorce, Mel Gibson and girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva made their first public appearance at the X-Men Origins: Wolverine screening in L.A. Tuesday.
Holding hands, the 53-year-old actor -- in a black suit with a dark gray shirt -- and Grigorieva, 38, did not stop to pose for photographers, instead rushing inside Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

how many marriages “dry up” over time. How many marriages are really over except for the paperwork?
Are people upset that the marriage is over or are they upset that Gibson has moved on to a physically beautiful woman. (compared to moving on to an ugly woman)

I’d have to say Mel Gibson is guilty of being a jackass and loosing his bearing. I suspect there will be painful consequences coming his way.

Newman was a class act! Also respected others political views and kept his own personal.
At least each new wife will cost half as much as the previous one.

Admittedly, this leaves a lot of room for abuse, but it does keep crap like this from happening. Short leash, kids. Short leash.

Per, this is NOT Oksana WhatsHerFace...the Russsian loungelizard singer. Who is this chicky-poo? Even Brendon, over at WWTDD is having fits (okay not fits, just tappping his fingers til TMZ ids her).
That said she looks kinda like a surgically altered version of his original babymama Robyn. Sad...but Robyn grew older (gracefully I might add—or she just has a really great doctor)...but this ‘new’ love of Mel’s life looks odd in a surgical sorta way. Like others have posted; she is trying for the Angelina look (just like Octomom). I don’t see this girlfriend as being ‘worth’ the troubles. But what do I know as I am not a middle aged male, Hollywood billionaire.
Obama’s fault... if GM was still going strong Mel could just buy a Corvette like all the engineers I work with when they have their mid-life crisis.
The Vette would have much lower maintenance costs on the long haul...
He should have just bought a convertible. Cheaper than divorce and botox alimony.
And trade in value.
Some folks should at least consider the possibility that Mel’s wife is a poor companion and that this woman is a quality companion.
She isn’t all that good looking, really. It’s amazing how quickly some folks use a woman’s looks against her and impute all sorts of bad qualities based strongly on superior looks.
Quality women come in all shapes and sized - including very goodlooking women. Lowlife women come in all shapes and sizes, too.
The wedding vows Mel took and purported to believe in didn't contain a contingency for declining quality of companionship. he's a hypocrite.
After seven children and twenty eight years, personalities do change. Vows don’t.
What if his wife has abandoned him?
What if she had an affair, and wished to reconcile but he did not?
What if she had an affair and enjoyed it, and wanted to be with someone else?
We don’t know what’s going on in their relationship. She may have pulled the trigger, not him.
The fact that he has an attractive new companion in itself isn’t evidence he is in the wrong. It’s not evidence he is in the right, either, to be fair.
Maybe his wife’s personality changed for the worse. I’m just sayin’.
That might be worth 400 million, if you have 800 million.
Not saying it is, just saying it might be.
