So far I haven't found anyone who remembers it as I do, but there was a XXX Tres Equis beer sold in the 60s, at least in Mexico. Anyone recall that brand?

I remember it. I remember drinking it in Juarez. Most Mexican beer is made with corn which is an adjunct.

Yes, I remember the Tres Equis brand.

I found it ‘interesting’ there was a XX AND a XXX
brand of beer.
