Simon Pegg: 'My son may be President'

Simon Pegg has joked that his son will be able to run for President because of his recent move to America.

The Shaun Of The Dead star claimed that his son will effectively be a "little American" because of the amount of time he is spending out there working on films.

"Because of work, we have to sort of ship the whole Pegg clan over - dog and all," he told GMTV. "And so I guess we'll have a little American - but it could be President one day!"

Those who complain every time the “birth certificate issue” is raised are partially to blame for the apparently growing misconception that anyone, regardless of national origin, can run for President. If we don’t stand up now, we will lose the ability to ever enforce the Constitution’s natural born citizen requirement.
