On the primarily black site, MediaTakeOut.com, I’d say 95% of posters love and support him.
I live in a 50% black neighborhood. Middle class blacks have a ton of common sense and will see that they’ve been had, that they will be hurt in the wallets, and dump their support immediately. They have nothing to be ashamed of; they are busy, hardworking people and they really wanted to support one of their own. All the media they had time to read or watch told them he was so great, so they didn’t think twice about inking in his name for President.
On the other hand, guilty rich white liberals who were very passionate and outspoken about how great Obama is and exaggerated to their neighbors how it wasn’t about race are kind of stuck now. They are not sharp enough to know THEY have been used worse than the black voters.
Actions will always speak louder than words! The November ‘12 Presidential elections are a long ways from today, and I’m not even certain that the leftist majority will definitely have elections in ‘10 and/or beyond. It’s also important to keep in mind that too many of our present voters are either: “politically ignorant”, “politically stupid”, “government dependence voters”, have short term attention spans, whenever it involves general politics, and/or have short term memories, whenever it comes to anything involving general politics. Add illegal immigrants and most criminals to the total leftist voter rolls and it will seriously be nearly impossible for all non-leftists to even successfully form a majority of voters throughout the entire U.S. and for the long-term, no matter how bad the entire U.S. gets as a functioning country! The worsening of all political correctness and the worsening of the “dumbing down” of the general public also successfully continues worldwide.
Im not confident “nazi” laws have anything to do with it...
I have black friends and co-workers who are starting to openly express doubts. They get a big smile when I tell them “Barack really isn’t black, you know. He’s half white and at least one quarter Arab.”

Thankfully, he didn't win. That would have been a nightmare. He still is a nightmare. His global warming agenda has poisoned the minds (and goals) of the easily manipulated.
At my house chances are if anything contains the word "global," it should be either ignored, turned off, not eaten or discarded. Contributions to the Soros crowd won't come from my house if I can help it.

Just got back from europe where he is better than god. Over there the koolaid apparently comes in wine bottles.

That must be a pretty unusual church. Doesn’t sound like typical church potluck conversation. I work in the city of Atlanta. There is no disappointment here. There is only many, many people wearing Obama shirts, and Obama jewelry, with Obama stickers on their cars. Already met one woman who named her baby son Barack.
I personally have yet to find an Obama supporter who has turned against him. Even when thy don’t like what he does they blame Bush for the mess he inherited.
Don’t buy it. Blacks will do what the machine tells them to do.

Well, it all depends. Here in Tennessee, some churches are death on smoking or drinking by anyone. Still, some guys up at the little southern Baptist church in this area stand outside and smoke. At another Baptist church up the road, strangely, a majority of the women stand out front and smoke before services. Again, strangely, most of their husbands have been smokers but quit a good while back. That one is a small rural church where the older people there started smoking as teenagers or younger, before the more enlightened elite made it politically incorrect to smoke. Honestly, a lot of people I’ve known over the years have been adversely affected by smoking (lung cancer) and hack up their lungs, all the while sucking on those cigarettes. Blacks and whites generally go to separate churches here. I think it’s just habit and general preference in music and worship practices rather than racial hatred.
Obama carried both Douglas Co. (Omaha) and Lancaster Co. (Lincoln). He carried one congressional district which meant that he received one electoral vote from Nebraska.
Gore would have been a nightmare after 9/11. I doubt he would have provided the clear leadership Bush did. He’d have been too busy trying to blame the Republicans for the attack (remember how Clinton blamed the Oklahoma City bombings on conservative talk radio?) and apologizing to the Muslim world for our having given offense.

...I’m in Richmond and saw a black guy with an “Obama...Challenge Yourself” T-shirt on. Whatever TF that’s supposed to mean. And yes, he’s still quite popular.

I said all along that within a matter of time, blacks would be referring to Obama as an “Oreo.”
Blacks in this country have been trained for the last 50 years to be stupid by dems. They are the biggest consumers of “bread and circuses” from what I see. The goal is shiny “bling”. That’s it. Therefore, it’s gotta be...”where’s the check you promised me”?
Hmmm-I’m from Nebraska. And yes there are blacks in Omaha and Lincoln in particular. Otherwise some, not lots. So far as the smoking goes, it depends on the church. And language where o is concerned can go any direction. Maybe a good idea not to generalize too much.
