No, sanitation isnt the only answer, but it is in large the whole part of the answer. And like I said, people close together is not good.
I agree. Thats the way well drillers shock wells. A little bleach in a lot of water will kill all kinds of nasty bugs.

Well, if you only do bloodwork on 8, then you can only confirm 8. There could be 500 cases for all we know. Sounds like they took a lesson from Indonesia’s health department.
Yep, this should be phase 5 if TPTB wanted to follow their phase chart. Some are following it by calling it a pandemic. Whether this will be a real pandemic or not is still uncertain from the news reports of the Gov’t & CDC presentation today. Maybe TPTB think it is best not to call it one yet?

Closing a border does not stop an airborne virus from crossing it.

I have a friend who is a lung Dr and My sister used to be a head nurse in Intensive care, The both said you treat this like you would pink eye. What I mean is anything that is touched is contaminated. I have had pink eye three or four times and I tell you a person learns real fast not to use towels over and over and things. With pink eye if you touch it, it has the bug. The same with this flu. And it doesnt take that much to take the proper measures to at least try and prvent such things.
And if you get it, drink as much water or fluids as you can...treat the symptoms aggressively. A lot of good ol fashion home remedy will help. Light foods, lots of water, brandy and honey mixed, warmed up, and taken in small amounts, and your usual cold/flu medications. If you get congestion, sleep on the easy chair to help keep your lungs clear-take breaths through pursed lips to put back pressure on your lungs to help break up congestion. The biggest killer of this will be lung problems.

More good advice. Thanks! :) Mr. Trisham has asthma, for which he's been hospitalized a few times. As of yesterday he has begun taking a Vitamin D tab daily. I'm going food shopping today and will pick up some soup. The last time he was ill with the flu it was ginger ale, soup, tea and toast for a week. I haven't caught the flu in years, knock on wood.
BTW, the Superflu in "The Stand" started in the same region; Mexico and the Southern U.S.
