Yup, A little laughter goes a long way these days.
It’s good to see Betty White and Cloris Leachman still kicking up their heels.
She was wonderful in the 1954 Broadway production of 3 Penny Opera. (I only say that because I have a recording, I don’t think I would have appreciated 3PO when I was a toddler.) RIP Bea.
Ya wanna known the truth? I voted for Reegan.
A woman should cleave into her husband. Right here in this house is where Edith's cleavage belongs.
No bum that can't speak poifect English oughta stay in this country...oughta be de-exported the hell outta here!
I'm out there everyday amongst them, in the smelting pot of New York.
But what does he owe me for 5 years of bread and broad?
Irene: (the sign says) "Pilferers Will Be Prosecuted." Archie: It means queers stay out of the men's room.
Maude: That man had charisma! Archie: I don't care if he was sick!
If your cousin Maude says one wrong word to me, we're gonna be leaving before the bride takes the shower.
RIP, Bea.

Archie regarding FDR:
“We didn’t know the guy was gonna hang on to the job like a Pope.”
I also loved her sparring with Archie. May she rest in peace.
Ah no! I thoroughly enjoyed Dorothy in the “Golden Girls”.
I watched an old episode of Golden Girls several months ago and was shocked at the non-stop sexual comments and jokes. Yuck!
Marines are not the army of death.
Why would you post such a thing?
Thank you for making me laugh
Yep...she was a Marine! Semper Fi!
So sad. I loved her in the Golden Girls. My grandma loved her in Maude.
Rest in Peace Bea!
And condolences to the her family and friends.
:(
Only 2 of them left now. Betty White was the oldest of the bunch I could see her out living them all.
It’s been awhile since I watched an episode of Golden Girls. I would think in comparison to what is said and shown on TV nowdays it would seem very mild!
I doubt the innuendo in Golden Girls was any worse than in The Carole Burnett Show with Harvey Coreman and Tim Matthews [?] and you couldn’t beat that for comedy.
Innuendo went right over the head of children in the past, today they hear the words expressed outright on TV and know what it means. THAT is sickening.
Funny to know she was older than Estelle Getty in the series as they made Estelle look so old, lol.
Her Spirit will live on.......
