Washington man, 84, fights off would-be carjackers with kick to the groin

An 84-year-old man has a black eye, but he still has his car, after fighting off two would-be carjackers. Ted Mazetier said he stopped Wednesday night to help two men with a disabled car when one punched him in the face and demanded his keys. Mazetier said he kicked the man in the groin and the other in the belly. The two men fled as a passer-by stopped to help.
Mazetier said he'll think twice before stopping again to help someone on the street.

I’m glad he’s ok. Unfortunately this is a very common tactic for carjackers, as well as muggers and other types of thugs. They pretend to have car trouble, then attack the good samaritan who stops to help them. Sometimes these criminals are women, too, so be on your guard, if you stop to help somebody.

I hear about so many attacks on women I always wonder why they don't just kick the guy in the crotch.
Especially during a rape. I don't think it would take much to pretend like you're cool with it and then, as Emeril would say, BAM! Problem solved.
