Horse bitten by dog at show event (Pit Bull)

A horse has been injured after being attacked by a dog during a show-jumping event in Londonderry.
The horse was being led by a young girl at an event in the council-owned Ballyarnett Park on Sunday.
The horse was bitten on its neck and hind quarters when it was attacked by a Staffordshire bull terrier.
The horse's owner Kelda Morgan said it was a frightening experience: "The dog just came running at the mare, Tessa, and she did her best to get away."
"It was petrifying for everybody at the show, especially for Amy, the girl that was holding Tessa," Ms Morgan said.
"The dog wasn't on a lead and it was with a group of about six teenage boys, they were laughing, they didn't care who was getting hurt or what was happening.
