Just when the not really bipartisan world of Washington and beyond was getting all comfortable hating the new leader of the Republican Party, Rush Limbaugh, word leaks out that the planet's most successful and quite possibly most reviled radio talk-show broadcaster -- oh, look, he's a conservative! -- loves animals... But it turns out, lovable Rush is a big animal-rights guy. He's got a much-adored cat named Punkin (see photo ). No, really...

Looks like an Abby. We’ve got one at home, they’re sometimes too smart for their own good and he looks like a miniature mountain lion. The previous owner was a stinking hippy who had him declawed so he can’t really protect himself from the Alpha cat.
We got him because the loser was on the way to have him put down and he happened to go by a rescue place and I guess a small micro shred of consciounse got him to stop. This was in 2001 and the herd has only grown since then.

But I now have three cats....here's a pic of "Misty"...she's the one on the left!

But I do have a pure white cat named Misty. She's now 19 years old. And you don't get to be that old attacking eagles!
