Note: Hope = Truth (scared liberal sees Zero leading to big bad right-wing)

Note: Hope = Truth

People of good intentions and progressive predilection are scratching their heads wondering just how President Barack Obama managed to turn himself into George W. Bush Lite with sugar-on-top just twelve weeks after that fateful walk down the US Capitol's east stairway to the waiting helicopter. I'm hardly the first observer to note that Mr. Obama's actions in the face of an epochal finance fiasco and economic collapse are a mere extension of the pre-January-20 policies, carried out by much the same cast of characters.

The assumption up until now was something about the reassuring value of continuity -- if we could just prop up an ailing set of banks for a little while, the US public could resume a revolving credit way-of-life within an economy dedicated to building more suburban houses and selling all the needed accessories from supersized "family" cars to cappuccino machines. This would keep everyone employed at the jobs they were qualified for -- finish carpenters, realtors, pool installers, mortgage brokers, advertising account executives, Williams-Sonoma product demonstrators, showroom sales agents, doctors of liposuction, and so on.

Mr. Obama looked to be the man-on-a-white-horse -- on the exhaustion of Reagan-Bush Jesus-Republicanism -- but he's coming off more like Philippe Égalité (Louis Philippe Joseph d'Orléans, duc d'Orléans) in 1793, with perhaps Newt Gingrich waiting offstage to become Robespierre in 2012 -- and some obscure US Army captain now toiling in Kirkuk slated to become the American Napoleon of 2015. As you've surely heard a thousand times now, history doesn't repeat itself but it rhymes. The enormities of Wall Street today are a little like those of the French Ancien Régime at Versailles.

Yep, he is scared.

I am sure that, whenever he hears about another Tea Party, he would be checking again to see if his head is still attached to his body.:-)

Some liberals are beginning to act out persecution syndrome.

It is my opinion, that the Tea Parties must necessarily reflect the largest mass turnout in US history, comprising of a core message of OPPOSITION to the newly inaugurated President. Remember, this TEA PARTY gathering occured within Obama's First 100 Days. I think there is no other example at least in modern American history.

This, if proven, could be quite a claim and should be thrown in the liberals faces; they may well not be able to counter it.

Presumption: The Tea Parties of 15 April 2009 reflect the largest anti-President turnout, in terms of size of crowds when totalled, in American history so early into a new Presidential administration.

Tea Party movement is stronger than Republican Party. It’s time to make Republican Party work for their grass root constituency instead of playing their master.

Probably an “educated”, head in the sand pissant who wrote that. Thanks for the post. I’ll know next time that anything that man writes I should ignore.

What was 0 supposed to do? Offer up his own ideas? All he knows how to do with a problem is throw taxpayer money at it.

“and some obscure US Army captain now toiling in Kirkuk slated to become the American Napoleon of 2015.”

The panic has him blurting out the truth, the leftist disdain for the military and all its members.

As much as I dislike his liberal pinings, his analysis is pretty much on target.

But the comments...What is it about leftists and filthy language?

There were great videos of various RINOs being booed. That is the kind of stuff I EAT UP. I would much rather watch a RINO get called to task, as I am all for cleaning up OUR house first!

ABSOLUTELY. How can we criticize their side, when "our" side does the exact same things, and did them first? There is no high ground to stand upon.

Actually, many of them suffer from DCVE. (Death Camp Victim Envy)...and will never truly be happy or able to feel good about themselves, until they are getting themselves rounded up for the future Gulags, work camps, and mass graves that they are constantly struggling to create the immoral social zeitgeist that will allow them to be brought into existence again.

DemoLib Leftism is a Murder/Suicide death Cult.
