Depending on the nationality, people born in the USA to foreigners could seek citizenship from the countries of their parents.
Oh, I know her Dad is Iranian, mom is Japanese. Did not know that US would honor dual citizenship. Does it depend on the parent’s status—i.e. if they seek US citizenship, kids cannot have dual?
