Sometimes actors get too big for their britches.

I know. I remember what happened to the first actress to play the assistant on Monk. She asked for a big raise and WHACK she was gone.

Valerie Harper of Valerie's Family asked for more $$$ and the series became The Hogan Family, sans Valerie.

Yep, and I like the new girl better. Took a while though. I like Sharona and missed her character, but now I like Natalie too. I like that she isn’t as whiny and eyerolley as Sharona was. Sharona tended to mock and belittle Monk, but Natalie has more compassion for his condition.

Having a slight OCD condition myself, I try to hide it, but sometimes it comes out. Luckily my friends just wait patiently for me to wash my hands or smooth fabric that is all wonky. Ironically, I have a photographic memory too. I wonder if the person who wrote this understood the condition. It truly IS a blessing and a curse. I don’t have it near as bad as Monk though.
