They look like creepy “anti-globalization” types who managed to get paying jobs for a while. They’re in their 30s, a little old to be counter workers in a fast food place, and maybe Mom and Dad had refused to pay for their airfares to the latest riots and they had to get some kind of employment.

This is nothing new in the restaurant world. I worked as a maintenance man for a pizza chain back in my day and from what I saw have never gone to eat there after I quit. Besides bone heads like these there are other unclean practices that take place.
