The jet was fumigated but the snakes' bodies are yet to be found. Give it a few days and follow the smell!

I think that's Conga. No, that's a Michael Crichton book.

They were being transported in the cargo hold of the aircraft in a bag inside a plastic foam box with air holes. Snakes are transported in plastic foam boxes to protect them from the low temperatures in the cargo hold of airplanes. If they didn't find their way into something warm that was offloaded from the plane, they would have died anyway. I'm sure that whoever didn't tie that bag securely is kicking himself right now. Another possibility is that he was supposed to ship 12 snakes and only shipped 8 for some reason. Rather than admit the mistake, he's letting everyone else take the hit.
The big snake around Samuel Jackson's shoulders in this picture
appears to be some kind of Australian carpet python. I don't know the Stimson's pythons, but I'm guessing that they look like smaller versions of this one.

That’s right. I remember now. You have those amazing carpet pythons. Have you written against HR 669 yet?

You didn't link your graphic. I've been following the advice of the United States Association of Reptile Keepers (www.usark.org). I've also gone to the nohr669.com site to send an e-mail.
I met a staff member for Senator Vitter Tuesday night, and I'm going to be sending him more information to try to stop S373 in the senate.

You just gotta love Sam Jackson. He’s so calm and suave with a dozen snakes on his lap!
And the chick in the seat next to him looks like she can’t figure out what that smell is. It must be her, ‘cause Sam Jackson is too cool to stench.
