Yeah, I had to read that a couple of times, too. Either the writer is guilty of a dangling participle or left out a comma after “Spector.” In either case, it was Lana Clarkson who’s luck had run out, not Spector’s.
Actually, I think he wrote “who’s” when he should have written “whose”. No dangling participles were harmed in the production of this piece, as far as I can tell.
