The creature was huge. Its eyes were deep set and hard to see, but they seemed expressionless. His face seemed pretty much devoid of hair, but there seemed to be hair along the sides of his face. His chest, shoulders and arms were massive, especially the upper arms; easily upwards of 6 inches in diameter, perhaps much, much more. I could see he was pretty hairy, but didn't observe really how thick the body hair was. The face/head was very square; square sides and squared-up chin, like a box."
At www.mogollon monster.com, you can see pictures of Mogollon Monster poop and caves, watch some videos, find links to other MM sites and read an account from a woman who said she saw the creature last Christmas near Springerville. She described it as hairy, black and about 8 feet tall.
Sounds like a black bear to me. ...when standing on its hind legs.
Whoa I’ve seen that hairy dude! A couple of years ago, I was out collecting and sampling peyote when I saw that creature fly in, walk around, do a few cartwheels and then fly off into the pink and yellow polka dotted sky
I blew up that photo to see what that was behind M&M in the background.
Was it Zane Grey who wrote a story featuring rhe Mogollon Monster back in the teens or ‘20s?
Dude - the Mogollon Monster has been the subject of many campfire tales in the Rim Country. I first heard them at a Baptist Church Camp where I worked as a teenager in the early 70s.
Near as I can tell, there ain’t no such thing. Our version of the story had the monster grabbing young Boy Scouts out of their sleeping bags at Camp Roosevelt; he would decapitate them and hang their corpses from low-hanging tree limbs.
i went to the website. do you think that these people are really serious?
considering all that has happened this past year which i thought i never would see happen: voter fraud, socialism, bailouts, republicans pretending to be democrats, etc., i have no idea if they are or not.

Global warming chased him away. Big Foot and Global Warming have a lot in common.
Ain’t he kin to y’all?
I saw one, and he went after the children first! It was terrible.
It was the most unnerving sound I've ever heard.
You’ve heard stories about Bigfoot for what, 70 years or more? I imagine they’re getting old and ready for retirement. Why not Arizona?
Awesome! I've been looking for some Mogollon Monster poop to complete my collection!
Of course the Mogollon Monster is real. What else could have made the tracks on Houston Mesa Road?
