Absolutely, go after the booty they get. So far they've gotten away with their piracy mostly cost-free. Start making them pay through the nose by attacking their homes, their villages/cities, etc. Put a blockade around their miserable, worthless little country and blow anything out of the water that looks like a pirate ship. If a few innocent ships get sunk it will only serve to make everyone more careful.

Also, don’t forget to make these countries — *pay us* — for rescuing their butts, since they are the ones who created this problem by paying ransom to these pirates for years.

First of all, make these countries and/or shipping companies pay us all the money that they’ve paid to the pirates up to now. That should be a good down payment.

Then these guys have to come to the White House, bow down and beg the U.S. to “rescue their butts” from these pirates.

After that, they have to pay the U.S. for continuing “protection” in the area...

That should about do it... :-)
