Very sad, about a mile from my house too The Angels are off to a bad start. A Fan was killed on opening day in a stairwell right after the game and a chunk of concrete came down and hit a few fans

Prayers for those killed and for the families. Goodness, he was at the top of the world. You never know when your time is up.

A real tragedy. Sympathy extended to families of those killed.
Someone must have been speeding like crazy....maybe both drivers? It seems like a terribly destructive accident. Is the Mitsubishi built like an egg carton?

The article said he had been captured.
Cops say the person driving the van fled the scene -- but was later caught and charged with felony hit-and-run. The suspect is currently being treated for injuries in a local hospital.
