Divorce papers filed in a New Jersey court claim rock and roll star Bruce Springsteen was having a long affair with another man's wife, says a report.
Arthur Kelly alleges in papers filed in Monmouth County on March 27 that his wife, Ann, committed adultery with one Bruce Springsteen, who resides in Rumson, N.J., and Colts Neck, N.J., at various times and places too numerous to mention," reports Star Magazine.

Never liked him personally, and never much cared for his music, either.

I wonder if this is going to leave a bad taste in the Bosses mouth!
He’s an a$$hole. He’ll get what he deserves, eventually
Were they “Dancing in the Dark”
Why would this be mentioned in divorce papers? Adultery is completely irrelevant to divorce in New Jersey.
I think they can use it if the parents are fighting for custody of the kids.
When my parents split, I know my mom was able to use it against my philandering dad. But I’m in PA so it might be different.
Julianne Phillips must be laughing...
The Chickens Are Coming Home To Roost!
same here. I always felt he was overated but one heck of a lot of people like his music. different strokes and all that huh?
Springsteen’s another sleazy lib..... not surprised
Ummm, because it was Springsteen????
...in the “secret garden” down by “the river”.
When people I know who divorced in New Jersey, the judge forbid any mention of adultery.
He was way overrated. I remember the tv networks playing ‘Born to Run’ during the NFL playoffs and I think that gave him a huge exposure/boost for a few years. I guess maybe a couple of his songs captured the feeling of the times back then.
The one live performance I saw in 1979 was great though because of his backup band.
Maybe he, Edwards and Spitzer can go on Ophra and talk to Dr. Phil.
Now look at them yo-yos thats the way you do it
You play the guitar on the mtv
That aint workin thats the way you do it
Money for nothin and chicks for free
Now that aint workin thats the way you do it
I saw Bruce in 1975 after his second album, ‘The Wild, The Innocent, and the E Street Shuffle’ came out. Awesome show. But that was it - - he had peaked. Since then he’s done very little that I care for.
I always thought he was a scumbag... just something about him.
That being said, the I hope the woman’s husband sues Springsteen’s a$$ off!
I don’t know if NJ has the “Alienation of Affection” laws but in Robeson County NC in the early 90’s a lady sued her husband’s paramour for a million bucks and won the case.
The husband had divorced his wife and married his secretary in his then thriving real estate business. I don’t think that marriage or the business survived the results of the case... How do you say: “Thou shall not covet?” ...justice!
