On Wednesday, May 16, 2007, it was reported that a malignant polyp was found in the area where Fawcett had been treated for the initial cancer. Doctors contemplated whether to implant a radiation seeder which differs from conventional radiation and is used to treat other types of cancer.

Fawcett, however, chose to travel to Germany with O’Neal for embryonic stem cell cancer treatment not available in the U.S.
This treatment in Germany has been filmed for a possible reality television show.

I wondered the same thing.

The delusional& Luddite attitude that prompts people to go abroad to seek unproven and/or false cures because they believe that the evil corporations here have hidden the "real" cures has led more than one person to their death.
