This is about intimidation. End of story.
They realized he was a political threat, but his lawyers couldn’t/wouldn’t find anything to stick him with (or they thought the political aspects of attacking him for saying what our founders said were too risky), so they decided to send Mr. Basso an “invitation” to “get his mind right”.
And told him to keep silent about it!
Scary stuff, really.
Now that it is public I don’t think you will hear much more about it.
They know Basso will sing loudly—as any American in his position should.
Bravo, Basso!
He should go with a camera.
